We ate in (but they have a thriving take away as well). We were greeted promptly and shown to our table (very friendly and prompt service). The menu is comprehensive, with banquets on offer. We opted to order our own entrée and meals and we can not fault the quality of the meal. The food is of an excellent standard, it really is. I highly recommend this place if you like a relaxed (but well presented), BYO atmosphere and just good quality food. We were completely satisfied with our experience and we definitely recommend this place.

Very delicious and generous servings. Very impressed with the amount of meat within the curries. Lamb Madras is our favourite - a very unique and different style compared to others we’ve had elsewhere. Butter Chicken is also A1. Staff are friendly. The extreme negative reviewers seem to be nothing but trolls. Picky notes for improvement: plain rice, and please, no more price increases!!

We love the Grand Guru restaurant. We have had some really great Indian all over Melbourne and this is probably up there with the best we have had.
